What to use for Spyware/Tracking Cookies etc..

Hi Guys,

I'm pretty sure I have spyware or tracking cookies, I'm having random people adding me on msn and basically msging me spam and such.. I used to have the same problem on Windows.. my question is how do I get rid of it??

I have already tried Mac Scan, but when I try to delete(isolate) it just hangs for a long time..

So is there another similar app I can use ?

People adding you on MSN doesn't mean you have spyware, it means your MSN screenname is posted online somewhere for bots to gather and spam.

Well, each browser has the ability to delete cookies so you can do that. Also, each browser has a setting for only accepting cookies from the visited page, as opposed to 3rd party sites (which is the default). This should help reduce possible bad cookies.

MSN just has a lot of spam bots. I get them too. Solution? Only accept messages from people on your list.
