Upscaling produces a very good picture in my opinion.

Upscaling. Sat back I don't see a difference, especially with the TV on 100hz to smooth the frames out. Amazing that tech from the mid 90's in 576i can look that good with a good DVD player and TV.

My old widescreen CRT TV is still going well, so I'm prepared to wait a while for the HD market to sort itself out before I upgrade.

Got a upscaling DVD player. Don't really like it though, thinking of selling it and getting a Mac mini to handle my home theater.
