Hi !

A friend of mine took his IBM, I took my 15" HiRes PB G4, a we've made a small test. We've displayed the same picture and we were looking at the displays from different angles. PB's display had better angles and colour than IBM. AFAIK IBM has TN display, and my friend asked me what type of display is in PB. Unfortunately I have no idea what type of display is in PB, and what's not funny I can't find (google) any info on that matter. Based on big difference in quality of both displays we suspect that should be something better than TN but we can't prove it ;)
Do you have any information about type of 15" hires powerbook displays ?

greets
G.

It is certainly a very good TN LCD and blows away my Unibody MBP except for brightness which honestly the LED used in Unibody is way too bright!.

Viewing angles are way way better , plus color tones are way better.

Do the current MBP's and early 08's have TN + LED or something else + LED?
