What Unlock tool would I need for??? Please advise...

Hey everyone,

I have to help someone unlock a 3GS on iOS 4.1 Baseband 05.14.04

Which tool would I need to unlock this iPhone with?

Obviously you need to be JB first before you can unlock the device. If by chance he isn't already JB...what tool would I JB 4.1 with on a 3GS??

I'll be doing this on my laptop so I don't really want to update it to 4.3.1 and make him lose all his info and stuff.

Please advise....thanks in advance!

I've read a few confilcting articles...I'm getting the impression there is no unlock tool for baseband 05.14.04....

Also does anyone know what tool you would need to unlock baseband 04.10.01?

I know you need to JB first...so if my friend is on 4.3.1 and has baseband 04.10.01....after JB and going into Cydia, manage, sources, click on repo666 and install ultra snow...would that unlock 04.10.01???

Currently, there are no unlock for your 2 phones;

3GS running 4.1 IOS with baseband 05.14.
Iphone 4 running 4.3.1 with baseband 04.10

You can use limera1n to jailbreak the 3GS and redsn0w to jailbreak the 4.
