I'm thinking of buying Logic Express and composing some music and I want to buy a keyboard to use as an input device. Here are some of my criteria:
Also, I don't need fancy buttons and sliders; just a keyboard would suffice.
Just to get the ball rolling, I've been looking at the Edirol PCR-300 . . .
The Oxygen 25 . . .
And the Axiom 25 . . .
Any opinions or other suggestions? (And sorry if my terminology is incorrect.)
- 2 - 4 octaves
- Full sized keys
- Works well with Logic Express
- Plugs directly into a USB or Firewire port (no external audio interface needed)
- Controller, not synthesizer
- Fairly cheap
