We just bought an Imac and I would like to find out what version or type iMac I've bought. I see ads and forum messages referring to G4s and G5s and Mini iMac, and an "Intel Mac", and I don't know if mine is one of these versions or not. I also want to know what release of Leopard OSX do I have. Some of the programs and accessories say that they require a specific release of Leopard OSX vers. X and I don't know what I have installed. I looked all over the web and got more confused than ever, so I'm starting off with you guys because you seem to really KNOW what's going on Macintosh-wise.
thank you.

For your OS version click on the Apple logo in the upper-left corner of your screen and select "About this Mac." This will also tell you the type of iMac you have, based on the type of processor displayed (G4, G5, or intel).
