My guess would be After Effects only. The 3D in that video doesn't require a program like Maya, especially since it looks like the text and exploding floor are two separate layers composited together (evidenced by not seeing any of the floating bits behind the text).
 
It doesn't even require After Effects. These are examples of what you can do with only FCPX and a plugin:

Yes, should have mentioned that 3rd party plugins for the NLE of choice are also an option.

However, I still prefer a dedicated motion graphics program for anything beyond a quick and dirty effect.
