What was the time between the WWDC Announcment and Pre Orders?

Was just wondering what the time frame was for people to be able to pre-order via apple or ATT last year. I'm assuming that this year's launch will also allow pre-orders once Steve announces the official launch date at WWDC.

Pre-orders were available same day. Almost immediately after the keynote ended if I remember correctly.

Last year was the only year they did pre-orders. So as far as pre-orders go, it hasn't been different every year

In the UK, O2 does their own pre-orders for existing customers.

I thought you could pre order/reserve one in the store for the 3g, just no online orders.

Yep I walked into my Local AT&T store to pre-order just a few hours after the keynote.

I don't remember why it required me to go into the store physically to order one...I always pickup my iPhones at my local AT&T store. Much closer and shorter line than the apple store.
