I want to get webcams for my parents. They have windows machines, but I'd like to get webcams that are mac compatible, just in case they get a mac at some point in the future.

I'd like some recommendations on good webcams. Thanks.

I tend to stay with Logitech for webcams, but if your parents *do* get a Mac in the future, they won't need webcams for it. Macs come with integrated webcams on all current models, with the exception of the Mac Pro (which isn't an all in one machine.)

And the Mini, which for someone looking to 'try out a Mac' and already have a display/keyboard/mouse, may be an appealing target for his folks at some point.

Just sayin'.

I would have to second the Logitech cameras, the logitech Quickcam Pro is amazing! Though it looks great if you have high speed Internet. Some say it looks like HD!

YOU FORGOT POLAND!! Err, I mean the Mini!!

Heh, oops y'all are right, the mini is definitely another option :)

Hope Apple decides to actually update it soon.
