i am thinkin of purchasing a ipod touch 16 gb.

it has model number MA627LL/A
what week is this and if so is this a bad week.

You need the serial number of the iPod to find the week info. My iPod Touch is a week 41. you can tell by looking at the serial #1B741XXXXXX. The fourth and fifth numbers are the week.

No one will be able to answer your question by the model number you provided. The week number is the two digit number after the first 7 in your serial number if I remember correctly.:)

edit: oh well I got beaten to it.

It's actually the 4th and 5th digits of the serial number

Yep. Most weeks after 37 are alright. Anyways, I just recently bought one at Sam's Club and was initially worried when I received a Week 38, but it has had no problems so far. Screen looks great, no dead/stuck pixels, everythings good :D
