State of Denial
Ok so both of my lines are up for ATT upgrade, and not under the early bump program.

Wife hardly uses her iphone and has no need for a newer one.

So my thoughts are to upgrade both and sell the second phone. Will I net enough to justify the hassle of the upgrade and and cover the cost of my upgrade?

I found myself suffering from a lack of employment as of yesterday so I'm already trying to think of ways to bring in some extra cash without parting with some of my current toys..

What's the point of selling it? You're probably only going to get a couple hundred bucks, but that's not much.

He said he was unemployed. Not broke and hurting for money. Lol. Nothing wrong with it. If you are comfortable, do what you want :)

However - don't b!tch about pricing and this or that. I hate when people complain about the cost of something because they don't have money or it's tight for them. Don't buy things you can't afford :)

Anyways - good luck and have fun! :D

Well, to contribute, I think you might get $600+ because last September new iPhone 3Gs's were selling for over $700 (albeit jailbroken and unlocked).

They may go for higher than that because of the ETF.

Selling a phone doesn't touch your ETF if you are still in contract and paying (albeit using a different phone)

I think it's a decent idea if your wife is okay with that phone for the foreseeable future.

He was saying that iPhones would be worth even more now that AT&T raised the ETF to $325.
