After actually sticking to one of my two New Year's resolutions for this year (go to more concerts) I've decided that resolutions are actually a good thing if followed through.
So out of curiosity, what will be your New Year's resolutions?

Going onto my list will be:

1) Learn to play golf, and make it a regular thing
2) Learn to snowboard. Its another sport to add to my repertoire, and gives me more holiday options!
3) Loose weight get fit, and get back playing rugby!!!!
4) Keep up the concert going
5) Save more money. Actually just saving money would be a good start....
6) Stop panicking about being 30!!!

C'mon folks let me see what your plan's are...

1) Stop procrastinating so I don't have to pull 36-hour marathons to get projects done.
2) Post less on MR.
3) Post more on MR.

Here's to the Crazy Ones

To make a start on doing up the flat.
To buy an entirely new wardrobe.
To venture outside the M25 for a break...

1) Stop buy/selling mac stuff for just the hell of it
2) get out and run more (and make state cross country)
3) make more money
4) take college classes
5) get a girl friend
6) learn to snowboard

1) Lose weight, continue physical therapy and get back to marathoning by May.

2) Pay off debt and save money.

3) Be more social with my step family.

4) Stop renting and buy a place.

5) Be more regimented about my daily work schedule. Color correcting at 3 in the afternoon in you PJ's is comfortable, but meh.

6) Be a little less crass and cynical.

I'll add as I think.

1. join a gym and get back in shape

2. figure out what to do with the rest of my life:

  • keep working a regular (boring) job sitting in front of a computer all day so I can get a steady paycheck?
  • start my own photography business so I can get some fresh air once in a while (and maybe get some credit and respect for the work that I do)?
  • or something else entirely?

3. get 500 posts on here so I can finally get an avatar :D

1) force a stop to my OCD towards apple products.
2) keep my intensive swimming regime up.
3) watch my money more carefully.
4) do work when i get it, not 2 days before it is due in.
5) organise.
be more assertive to people as to what i want (as a customer and trainee manager).

Taking inspiration (i.e. blatently stealing) from you guys I can add:

7) Go on holiday. 20 straight months in London without a decent holiday anywhere is just not good...
8) Stop feeling compelled to upgrade my PowerBook with every new revision (Didn't get the last PPC 15" only due to the line issue!)
9) Get 500 posts and get a 'tar. And contribute financially to MR!

I always make a list and very rarely stick to it, but this year I've kept them short and acheivable

1. Get fit again - was training for a marathon this time two years ago, but work and other things got in the way.

2. Stop procrastinating - if I have something to do, do it instead of leaving it to the last minute and rushing it. Applies to both work and college.

3. Stay in touch with my family more - my parents have moved to another town because of my dad's job and my sister has moved to Hong Kong. I wasn't very good at keeping in contact before when they were close by, but now they are further away I've got to make a conscious effort to keep in touch.

4. Save money - self-explanatory, but probably the hardest one to do.

1440x900 on my powerbook, 1280x1024 on my Ext display, and 704x296 on my TV

but seriously, i bont make newyear resolutions, not cos i brake thim intentionaly, i just forget them entirley.

1. Practice more (for my recital, mainly.)
a. Don't injure myself while practicing
2. Study. I don't at all, and while I enjoy my 3.9 gpa, it's not gonna cut it.
3. get decent amount of sleep each night.
4. Eat healthily (right now.. I am so far from healthy, it's not even funny.)
5. Give blood on a regular basis.

I know that 2006 will be the year that I purchase my first laptop, so the resolution that I am more focused on is to keep the 50 pounds I lost and kept off all during 2005 at bay in the new year. I was at my doctor's last week and my weight was 149 ... good news indeed.

Of course, there always has to be something on the medical front to be concerned about. I went for an echocardiogram and the report indicates that there is minor leakage from three heart valves ... not such good news.

1) No more soda/pop.

2) No more candy/chips/etc.

3) Start studying/homework the second it is needed, rather than putting it off until it's convienent.

1) Actually use my University's Rec. center which I pay $80 a quarter. Only went there once and played Badminton.

2) Get in better shape.

3) Get my GPA/grades up more. Not that it really matters to me but it sort of just looks good.

4) Find a job

5) Keep going to Concerts and events.

6) Actually purchase a Digital Camera next year.

7) Purchase an external HD to back up my PB. Starting to worry a little.

8) And I really should stop putting things off and just get them done right away/AFAP (As Fast As Possible)

And the resolution is...

....1680x1050, with my new Dell 2005FPW. :D

Seeing as I never have the discipline to keep them, maybe I won't make any this year.

My only new years resolution is: Not eating bananas while sitting at the top of flagposts.

I've actually had this resolution for about 20 years and managed to hold it every single year. :D

Oh, did I mention I don't really believe in new years resolutions? I think it's better to do things when comes naturally.

That's why I stopped smoking around the end of May 1998 and gave up on the nicotine gum in the middle of January 2001. Both times just felt right. "All" those giving up cigarettes on new years eve are bound to start smoking again...

And loosing weight is something I'm trying already... ;)

Well, there's always a first time.. and I really want to be there when it happens. With a camera.
