What will double-tapping side button do in UK?

We don't have Apple Pay here in the UK, so for now what will double tapping the side button do? I believe this brings up your saved payment cards but I presume that functionality won't be available here yet.

I'm just hoping Apple Pay will launch internationally later this year.

Maybe it's customizable. Just like triple-tapping with iPhone.
