What will I need to do to activate my iphone 5 tomorrow?

On vodafone...will I just need to speak to somebody? How will it work with the nano sim?

was thinking will it be a good process as wanted to know if i could collect phone and be up and running within mins or not? does it take 24 hours to activate?

Can't speak for your vendor but I got mine from US Apple Store for use with AT&T. Sim was in iPhone, I turned it on and the iPhone walked me thru the setup, even telling me when to open iTunes and plug in. Used it quickly.

cheers not sure if it's different in the UK...just hope it doesn't take 24 hours to activate the sim.

Why would it take 24 hours?
Mine was setup and activated within seconds.
Are you buying it at the vodafone store on through the mail?
Did you buy it full price or under contract?

getting through delivery...got it ordered via phone and yes it's under contract. Just wondering how quick it is and wether i can get it from parents house then head to work all set up within mins or not.

Yes, if its under contract then the nanosim inside is preprogrammed with your phone number.
All you have to do is turn it on and activate it by plugging in to itunes or connect to wifi and follow the onscreen instructions. It should take minutes if that.
The new sim inside will work and the old one will automaticly deactive in the old phone.
