Will you demand a replacement on site?

I hope I don't get it, but if I do, I'll probably just wait a little until I can exchange it or maybe go to the Genius bar "down the road."

I'm lucky, Best Buy called me tonight and told me I can pick my iPhone up tomorrow. I thought I wasn't going to get one at launch (and ready to accept that fact). Good luck everyone, getting one, and with these issues.

I plan on calling Apple tomorrow. I don't expect an immediate replacement, but I do expect a replacement.

What is the best way to see this yellowing when picking up the phone tomorrow?

With the display on? Using safari with a white background?

Anyone think Apple will agree to replace with another iPhone?

It is more prevalent on lighter backgrounds. I notice it the most on messages screen.

No, I don't think they'll immediately hand you a replacement. I don't believe they'll have the extra stock, but I could be wrong. That would be nice, though.

I will be looking it over before leaving and will not accept it if it has a yellow spot. If they can't give me another one, I will just keep my 3GS.

You won't take it home to mess with it until you get another?

I never noticed rainbows on DLP projectors. So, I may not see the yellow. But, if I see I will go for exchange or even refund as there are just too many cool phones out there. I currently prefer iPhone 4 mainly for it's display.

My local Apple store has an extremely limited amount for people who are camping out. I will be checking mine out immediately when I get it. If there are any kinds of problems, I will politely ask for a replacement right then and there, if one is available. If not, then I will adamantly ask for one on the next shipment - not waiting until the middle of July, of course.
