I am currently running a jailbroken iPhone 6 on 8.1.2. I know that you need to have 8.2 to use the Apple Watch. I have not restored yet, but wondered what my fellow jailbreakers are doing?

TIA

Is it possible that a JB tweak may be creating that permits the Apple Watch to be used with older iOS versions/older iPhones. I remember something similar was done with Siri, where it could work on the iPhone 4.

Goodness I hope so! I will hold off on restoring for a little bit. I will get my watch tomorrow in Houston but then it has to be overnighted to Stockholm where I am ...

Hoping to not lose my jailbreak but I'll do it for the watch!

Thanks for your input.:D

I personally would restore. I use to jailbreak all my devices but I don't know how I feel about jailbreaking with saved credit cards, passwords, and apple pay on my device. Although I do miss the pandora unlimited skip feature.

Thanks for your insight Chiguy12. We don't have Apple Pay here in Sweden so not really something I worry about. I think your concern is real though.
