Greetings:

I have give much consideration to building a LAN at home for use with three MAC computers and multiple printers several for Photography printing purposes. In addition, I will need a large capacity server in the 2TB range for DATA storage and retrieval. This server should be capable of expanding LAN ports provided it has a LAN router contained in the server package. In addition, it must be capable of adding additional large capacity hard drives; RAID's are fine in my book. High speed Internet access would be necessary throughout the LAN and would originate from a Comcast Cable to Ethernet modem. I would like to hear from those who have built a similar system and can recommend hardware/software that is reliable, expandable and at a competitive price range; CHEAP is not part of this equation. Your feedback, comments and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
