What would happen if Samsung goes head to head with Apple release?

There was an article with the rumored samsung galaxy prime going head to head with iphone 6 release on September... Ballsy move for samsung. Thoughts?

I think it can either be a success meaning it will halt the iPhone's sales which I doubt by the way. Or it will completely backfire, think Kanye vs 50cent album release dare where Kanye annihilated 50cent.

I doubt it. Anyone who will want a S5 will have probably already got one by then, even then not many people will know about like previous incarnations of the Galaxy S (something) models.

People who want an iPhone or a Galaxy usually walk out off a store with exactly that, it's rare for one person who wants one model to end up with the other.
