Hm, I guess that was mean. So I heard from my buddy who works @ the Apple store here in Orlando that 2.1 is coming out around 11am ET tomorrow... if that counts for anything?

Google would never go down , so we will never know the answer.

So your 'friend' is also SPECULATING that the 2.1 firmware will be released mid morning EDT. Wow along with 10 other threads speculating it will be released between 12:01am and some other time.

Well, he said he got an email this evening saying it'll go live around 11, to expect an influx of calls and stuff.
