Hi, i have had the tethered jailbreak on my iPhone 4 running iOS 5 since its release but recently i had to restore the phone back to iOS 5 stock firmware.

Anyway i would like to do a tethered jailbreak on my phone again but what would happen in a few weeks if an untethered one comes out?

Could i just use the untethered one over the tethered one or would i have to restore to stock to wipe the tethered off of the phone first (which wouldn't be possible as they are not signing 5 anymore)?

thanks

No one knows.

What would you have to do when this happened before on previous firmwares?
