What would the price of an upadated iMac be?

I am a long time PC user, and for close to seven years I have been stuck with a crappy Windows laptop. I have always had my eye on a Mac, but up until recently, I did not have the courage to do so. Now, with BootCamp, I can buy a Mac that will make the transition painless, and may eventually help me phase out Windows altogether. I have been looking at the 20 inch iMac with the base features. My question is if an updated iMac debuts within the next couple months, will the price be much higher than the current $1,500 price tag? If so, I would rather buy one now and update to Leopard later than dish out $200 more for the latest and greatest.

Apple's prices rarely go up. Chances are, that 20" stock model iMac will stay $1500 after the update.
