I currently have the rare Unlimited ATT Data plan. The only problem is that I live in Los Angeles. Where the data speeds rarely peak over 5mbs. And my avg is 1-2mbps if that. I have enormous latency issues sometimes hitting over 172ms. I can't even watch the HBO go app without it crashing and having to restart. One of the things I love is Slingboxing and watching movies on the go. I have had to resort to using my Verizon sim in my mifi to get around this.
My question to you because i'm in an area with horrible ATT LTE speeds due to congestion. If I keep it it's more of a long term plan, hoping that they will roll out more towers in the future. Possible that when AWS comes out it will help with congestion, but I believe that all those MVNO users are taking their toll on the network.
Or Should I sell the plan and go back to Verizon Unlimited Plan? Which is like a gamble because we have no idea if their plan is going to stay past June 2014. Which is kind of unsettling for me.
