I spilled wine on my 2011 MBP and it cost me 80 bucks to repair the trackpad, usb port, etc.
but the airport card is also broken and therefore it doesn't allow me with bluetooth connection anymore, and it would cost me another 100 bucks to replace it. With SSD upgrade, it would cost $280 in total. I don't think I'm going to be able to sell it, and maybe the repair cost would be higher than the selling price itself.
Luckily, it's my secondary computer and I'm also buying the next iPad Pro 12.9" (hope they release it this year), so it's not a lot of use anymore. It has served me for a good 5 years, I loved it but I'm not a type of guy who appreciates antiques or old memories, is it best to just do nothing? Or repair and sell/use it?
*(Sorry, moderators) The only use I'm going with my 2011 MBP is browsing NSFW contents, should I keep it for that purpose? What did you do to your old Macbooks basically?
