I just got 4 Dell computers. I believe they are 2.4 GHz Intel Celeron Processors with 512 MB RAM and 80 GB harddrives.

What would you all do with them?

Keep one spare for parts, use the rest for folding (yes I can't think of anything else )

I'd probably give them to me so I could use them as media hubs.

Do something

I would throw them out the window(s) as fast as I can :D
No, seriously... put large HD's in or sell them, otherwise they are no use.
What you can try is install Leopard on them if it really works :p

eBay

If you do not know how to sell them, use eBay. Put a high "Buy-Now" price tag on it, and maybe people will bu it if it's worth the money. Depends on the specs.

That is what I want to do but I don't know how much each of these are worth and where to sell them.

Try the marketplace. Somehow I doubt someone will buy all four off of you, but I'm sure that they'll move individually.

You could probably rip one of them for ram and an extra harddrive.

160GB RAID 0 drive and 1GB of ram isn't the worst system.

As far as I know they are Dell Dimension 2400s. I haven't had a chance to look at all of them or even start them up. But everything looks good From the one I did look at they are Celeron Processors with 80 GB hdd. And 512 MB RAM.

They are not new. They were from an office in my building that was moving out and getting rid of everything. They were all I had a chance to grab. I'll probably throw them up on the marketplace once I've had a chance to check them all out. Which may not be until after finals. I would love to somehow get an iMac out of these 4 plus another dell I have.

Well they're going for $75-200 on ebay now so I doubt you'll get enough for an imac, but you'll definitely make a nice bit of cash for them, maybe even enough for a mac mini if you're lucky...

For some reason I thought they were laptops although after reading the post again I don't know why I was under this impression so unfortunately I'm not interested, sorry.

With a roll of duct tape, you could make yourself a really cheap quad-core computer. ;-)

Nah, sell them all and buy a Mac mini. :D

Get some big storage drives, load Linux on them, and use them as a network server for your house.

Or sell um'

Donate them to a local school or charity. Or, as has been mentioned, install Linux on them and use them as servers/media players/etc. Build a custom modding project, that would be rad since if you screw it up, you have three more machines to try with! Or buy a plank of wood and use them as desk legs. ;)
