I have an iPhone 6+

Last night it started to malfunction. There's clearly something wrong with it that's going to need repairing.

My options are:

1. Send it to Apple for repair and presumably pay big dollar.

2. Buy an iPhone 6S+ from Apple and pay huge dollar.

3. Buy myself out of my current contract (six months left to run out of 24) and get a new contract for a new iPhone 6S+

4. Buy an iPhone SE as a stop-gap for six months and wait for the new iPhone 7, which I'll probably get as a "free" upgrade on my contract.

Pay off phone and sell it outright and get you a used iPhone 5S until iPhone comes out, trade in the 5S towards the iPhone 7

I ended up buying a 6S+.

I'll see if the old 6+ can be repaired and at what cost. I'll see how much it's worth and whether it's worth repairing it to sell.

When my existing contract runs out I could get an upgrade and sell the 6S+, or not bother and have much lower monthly payments.

The whole escapade will cost me a few hundred, but I need a phone, so what you gonna do?

5. Have a few good strong drinks. Then reconsider your options and follow your instinct. (goto the genius bar to confirm what the issue is, then take it from there)
