I'm trying to convert a friend to a Mac computer, and was thinking about selling him my Powermac+Monitor for a fair price. I was wondering if you guys could help me come up with a decent price. I'd really appreciate any help you can give me!

-----------
Desktop
-----------
Powermac G4 Dual 500MHz
1.12 GB of RAM
40 Gig Hard drive
SuperDrive
Pro Keyboard and Mouse included

-----------

-----------
Apple 17-inch studio display

Both are in Good to Excellent condition.

Let me know if you need any more info to better help you with a good estimate.

Thanks again for any help you can give me!!

I would say 550 to 600 is a good price. ;)

for only 300 dollars more they could get a refurb iMac G5 which would beat the pants off of that system - with a warranty and full of new software. Especially considering that you're selling to a friend, taking any more than 400 for that system would be incredibly unfair. Best option is keeping it for yourself and selling them on a mini and cheap LCD.

I thought that's too high!!! I mean, G4 dual 500MHz! And the 17" studio display is also the older model. I'm no expert on pricing - so don't take my opinion too seriously. But I would hesitate to pay $600 for that computer (with the display).
