If I could offer any of you secure hosting (unlimited everything, with possible free domain and support) for only £1 a month, what would your reactions be? Would you consider purchasing it? If not why?

I would say it is a scam or if you use more than 1/200th of the server's resources, they will terminate you.

Personally, I'm more into the VPS and dedicated server style hosting. A low end VPS is about the same price as a regular shared account but you can do so much more with it.

That does sound good, but I like to buy straight from the hosting company. Just I find a direct line to them is always better.

I just paid £120 for 2 years unlimited service with one hosting company. That stung pretty badly but it's a superb service.
