Hey Guys

Having just bought an Ipad 3, I thought I'd ask everyone what they like and hate about their Ipad cover/cases and what they would like to improve.

This should spark some interesting responses!! :)

Interesting question indeed, let's see...

I'm using a Hex Code Portfolio for over a year now.
Like: the high degree of protection.
Dislike: the added bulk and weight.

I'm using a Speck FitFolio on my iPad right now

Like - How it feels, the fit, the look, the latch that holds the cover in place when not in use

Dislike - Cover can be a nuisance when folded back, there's no velcro or anything to hold it, so it just kind of...flaps...if i don't hold it.

I use the Targus VuScape. It's actually a cloth cover and not the leather version.

+Professional Looking
+Different angles for viewing
+Nothing covering the bezel
+Stylus holder (I do use one occasionally)
+Magnetic Cover

-No Portrait setting
-Gets really dirty (The leather version doesn't have this issue)
-A little bulky but not too bad

I also have an Apple Smart Case
+Looks nice when new
+thin
+Magnetic Cover
+Engraving

-Gets dirty easy
-Poor display options (only 2)
-Poor display stability
-As Webslinger said about his case, the cover just flaps there when open. (This was my biggest hang up with the case)

I also have an Apple Smart Cover (Neoprene not the Leather version)
+Removable
+About as thin as you can get

-Gets dirty easy
-Doesn't offer any protection from drops
-Doesn't protect the back

Not sure what kind of case I'll get with the new iPad 5. Probably something that will let me set it in Portrait.

I've been through a couple cases for my iPad (Speck MagFolio and FitFolio)...those were ok cases. Both cases however didn't last too long...the cover materials would start to separate after several months of use. I've just recently picked up the Moshi iGlaze with Versacover case for the iPad and love it! It combines the benefits of a magnetic Smart Cover with a plastic back cover shell into one case. It adds virtually no bulk or extra weight...keeping my iPad light and thin as it was intended. I've finally found "the one" for me. Below is a video review...the case is a little pricey, but I shopped around and got a fair deal on Amazon with free shipping.

I'm using a Smartsuit3 on my iPad 4 right now

- Like: It looks like a book, thinner and smaller than other cases however the cover is strong enough to keep my iPad safe.
- Dislike: It is not very stable as a stand and the cutouts do not perfectly match up.

Now i use the leather case to protect my iPad mini:
Like: It can protect my iPad completely.
yike: It is a solid color, many people think it is very ugly.

I use a griffin folio

Likes: unique color design, sturdy, light weight, ease of use
Dislike: sorta wish it had more of a stand option and the fabric if you have any light color design tends to get dirty and hard to clean

I like the Tri-lounge by domeo

I recently bought the Tri-lounge, because I am addicted to using the iPad in bed before I go to sleep. The only thing that was bad is my arms and hands were always getting tired. I am pinterest girl so this lap stand/pillow is great for me. When I am done I just put my iPad in the case protector area and put it on the night stand. http://www.domeoproducts.com/ipad-cases/tri-lounge-lap-desk-ipad-case/
