Yep, my water sensor is pink.:mad::mad:

There is no way I can afford another one. I guess I'll have to get some simple QWERTY phone and live with that until next November. Wait, NOOOOOO!!!!!! How am I possibly supposed to do that?

Take a deep breath. My iPhone's sensors tripped just because I live in Lousiana and it's like 99% humidity in the summer. Apple wouldn't replace the phone so I replaced the water sensors myself. Took it to another Apple store and had it replaced because it was dropping calls like a MOFO.
There are many things you can do:

  1. Send the iphone in to a a 3rd party website and have them replace the water sensors.
  2. Open the iPhone yourself, and peel off the water sensor and replace them yourself. You can order water sensor paper off the net for cheap.
  3. Cry like a baby and accept that you have a $600 paperweight that you will still pay $80 per month to AT&T.

Do not pour bleach down the headphone jack and up the usb connector. I can't believe people do that!

There are MANY youtube video's that show how to do this:

Here's one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74hQfAO_FHM
