It depends, free apps I expect much slower support - very expensive ones I expect faster support. Those with forums and/or good documentation I always search first so frequently they don't get a support request because they have the answer posted publicly, it especially those with forums I do expect replies to be somewhat slower as they're dealing with an extra source for tickets.
