I just got my iPhone with an Otterbox, and I tried to play some music in my car today. My existing cable didn't fit with the case that I have. It's too wide up top. For example, I need a cable that is skinny like the stock earbuds. Thanks!
There's one that's 2 feet long and should work for you. I don't own that one so I can't vouch for it beyond saying that Mediabridge makes good quality cables, but it does specifically say it's designed to work with smartphone cases.

Go ahead and take a look at that thread. I had the same issue with a different case and ended up going with the cable made by monster. It arrived in like 3 business days from amazon and also it's a three pack so you'll have some extra adapters.
