Hey,
I just got my new WWDC 2009 15" MacBook Pro.

I don't like trackpads that much, so what's a good mouse to get that is also good for gaming?

It needs mac drivers, and I'm looking to spend up to $40.

Thanks,
Eric

Hands down the Deathadder is the best mouse I've ever used..... I own two now one for my iMac, and one for my MBP.

BTW the windows version is the same as the mac version just in different colors, which you can turn off via the driver software.

Just purchased a Razer Deathadder mouse. Pricy but very good mouse - simply glides on the mat. I don't play games but its a great mouse for setting up big layouts in Indesign. :)

It's well worth it. Trust.
:)

I agree. I was pretty hesitant because of the price but was very satisfied in the end. As the say when you get a high quality (but pricy) product you only need to "Cry once." :)

I had the Mx518 for years on my current imac, and last 3 mbps. Great mouse. Eventually the feet wore off and I used it as an excuse to get a new mouse, I got the G5 from Logitech, it is pretty much the MX518 with adjustable weights and wider feet

The microsoft ones are pretty great, actually. I've been using them for probably a decade now, precise, comfortable, reliable.

I'd say the Razer Deathadder or the Razer Lachesis are the two best gaming mice on the market right now. You might find something with Logitech, too.
