what's a good price on this used pro?

a friend wants to get rid of her 17 inch pro and we're starting to talk price, but I have absolutely no idea. Here are the specs-
MacBook Pro 17"
Processor: Intel Core Duo
Processor Speed: 2.16 GHz
L2 cache: 2 MB
Memory: 2 GB (standard is 1 GB, but I added another GB)
Bus speed: 667 MHZ
Hard Drive Size: 120 GB Has SuperDrive

She really doesn't move it around much, so I think it's in great shape. Where should we start? Any help is appreciated

thanks, dude, but when I asked here a few days ago without specs helpful users noted that site was ok, but posting specifics here would get me a much better idea.

I'd check out eBay. Do a search for MacBook Pro 2.16 and I'm sure you'll find a bunch of them. See what they're goin for.

That's my MBP.

I got mine off of Anandtech forums. Absolutely mint, a second new battery, all CDs/remote/cables, Applecare remaining for a few more months. This thing could pass for new IMO. Only thing it was missing was the box!

He wanted $1150 which I thought was a great price. We haggled a bit and I ended up sending him my AspireOne Netbook and cash for the difference.

This was all about 2 months ago BTW.
