My friend is interested in buying my iPod Photo, and I want to make sure to sell for a fair price for both of us.

My iPod is in great condition (i'm very anal about my iPods, haha). I left the clear plastic on the click wheel and put a screen protector on the back since day one. I also have kept it in a case at all times. There are no blemishes at all and I actually don't use it that often.

Accessories would include:
-original box
-headphones
-usb cable and wall charger
-apple iPod dock with audio out
-black leather incase portfolio case ($39 new)
-monster cable fm transmitter ($49 new)

I am wondering what's a good price with just the iPod and its original accessories, and how much the price differs if I include the dock, transmitter, and case.

Thanks for the help :)

Seems like they're going for around $125 on ebay so I'd say about that is a good price with the accessories since he's your friend.

Yeah, that would be a nice gesture to throw in the accessories. What if it were on eBay, would the accessories fetch any more?

Thanks,
Jim

I'd say that a fair price for all that would be $200. $120 for the iPod itself and $80 for the accessories, especially since it's a friend. I'd say if you were to sell them individually you could probably catch more on eBay, but that's a fair price between friends, maybe a bit more like low 200s up to about $230 would be fair since that is a good amount of accessories.

200-230 i'd say. If someone else could back me up on that i'd appreciate it, that's just what seems fair right now.

IMO, $200 is way high considering he can get a brand new 30GB iPod that plays video for $299...

I'd say around $160 for the iPod plus the accessories you can't use with a new iPod :)

Well that $300 is without any accessories, as i stated in my first post i thought 120 for the iPod itself was fair. The fact is that he has so many accessories, many of which are pretty expensive new i thought $80 was fair. If you sold them all on eBay i'd say you'd probably get that.

I'd say $200 is ridiculously high even with the accessories, IMO. I just sold a 60gb iPod Video on eBay with an apple radio remote and an InvisiShield (plus 6 months of warranty left) and only got $240 shipped. I'd say like $150 max is a fair price.. anything higher and the seller is makin' out big time.

Since it is immaculate and there are accessories, but since it is an older model, I would say 120 is fair for the actual iPod, and then 60 for the add-ins, so a grande total of $180 seems more than fair.

The 30GB iPod has been $249 for six months. The refurb one is $209.

I'd say ask about $150, maybe $175 max for everything.
