My macbook only has 2 usb ports so im looking for a nice USB hub. I need one with at least 5 usb ports. The problem is when I look em up on newegg 90% of them got crappy reviews. Does anyone know of a usb hub worth buying or at least what I should be looking for in a usb hub. Ive never needed one before so I dont know what to look for.

Searching the forum with MRoogle will usually find answers to most of your questions:
There's always the Star Wars R2-D2 hub that makes R2 noises when you plug in and remove devices (and a Darth Vader version for those on the Dark Side, i.e. Windows 
). There's also a Doctor Who TARDIS one that makes the TARDIS sound too.
Note: some places do say the R2-D2 hub is not Mac compatible ... but I can't see any reason why that would be so, or even how that would be possible - a USB hub is a USB hub is a USB hub, there's not really anything in them that can cause problems.
