Hi. I live in the UK. I've just turned 17 and I want to buy myself a car. I wanna spend about £3000 and I only got about £1000 saved.

So are there any good (legit) ways to make some cash on the side after college or on the weekend?

Thanks!

Medical testing

Get paid for taking drugs (legal ones) ;)

This is actually very true! I did this, although we were assigned to some other options... so I never took any drugs. But regardless, you can make some fast money doing this. I got $75 just for showing up for five minutes one day. Look for research companies near where you live -- or survey companies, they'll getcha too.

Personally, its probably best to secure a job prior to going to college. Possibly a job thats related to the field you want to go into, it will help your through school, and keep you interested.

But really, there is no good way to earn money without getting a job. You could become a successful viral figure, though lot's of people are after that right now, lol...

Besides getting a job?

Busking. Got any skills?

Could try like that enterprising young lady who auctioned herself off. Dunno if this guy/gal is gonna make any sort of fat cash money doing that though.

Job Alternatives:

Get a sugar daddy/momma
Hustle a lot of pool
Bounty Hunting

Well, I already have a job at a fast food place 3 days a week but the pay is not good (£5/hour). I've been working there for about a year and a half and no pay rise.

That's the reason why I'm looking for something else.

I might give medical testing a go but would they let me do it as I am not 18 yet?

Thanks.
