What's best to buy 500gb SSD or a 500GB SSD new Macbook Pro

I'm thinking of buying the new 13" MBP. Is it better to buy the smaller SSD version and rely on iCloud to store my data before backing it up to an external drive. Or, should I buy the MBP with the bigger SSD and use that in preference to storing everything on iCloud ?
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

iCloud storage is great to have but it's wise to have a backup strategy that includes one or more external device options. In your scenario, I would recommend the smaller SSD MBP and an external drive. You may want to consider other cloud backup options too.
