I finally decided to upgrade my 2015 13" MBP to the latest version of Mojave, all the way from Yosemite for that dark mode. The first thing I noticed was that it lost quite a bit of battery overnight, but it seems I have slowed it down a bit after reading some tips online on how to reduce sleep draining.

Now I'm noticing that I'm losing about 3% of battery life per 10 minutes with normal web browsing (no videos) on chrome, on a newish battery which translates to 18% per hour. That only puts me at 5 hours of usage - is that normal battery drainage or did Mojave screw it all up?

Hard to say without knowing what % of original design capacity your battery has and number of charge cycles.

Only 48 cycles but i wouldn't trust the design capacity of 91%, it's been fluctuating since I never fully calibrated it. I have a strong suspicious it has to do with Mojave.
