My MBP says charged in the OS settings and everything and it's usually plugged in (I see the green light indicating charging), but its 96% right now. Earlier I saw it was 97%. WHAT is going on!!!:mad::mad::confused::confused::confused:

That's completely normal. The battery won't be charged back up until it hits 95% in order to not waste battery cycles.

Ok! But...

I learn something new everyday. THANK YOU SO MUCH! :) :D

EDIT: Does this mean its better for the battery cycles/efficient/etc if I: 1) didn't keep the MBP plugged in until its at a low battery %, then charge it to full power? or 2) Do the thing I currently do, keep plugged in.

would like to know this aswell.

it is my understanding that as long as you occasionally unplug it and run the battery down, leaving it plugged in when you can is more efficient for the battery.
