The Land of Milk & Honey
I took my MBP (2008 Unibody, 2.8ghz, 4gb, 500gb) in to the local apple authorize repair centre to get the screen realigned after they replaced it for having burns, now I'm left with yet another problem from them...

Whenever the backlight is not on full I get a buzzing sound out of the left side of my computer. Also, there's a noticable flaw along the bottom, looks like only every second LED is working... The lower the backlight, the louder the buzz.

I'm going to have it sent to apple for repair, the local service place always has more problems when I leave than when I send it in in the first place... But, it's not the original 500gb hard drive, it's one I put in myself. The original 320gb one was sold to my EX girlfriend, who I know for a fact won't give or sell it back... What do I do? What's the problem, a lose connection?

Back everything up. Send it in. Be prepared for apple to steal your 500 gb or buy a 320 gb and install it before you send it in.
