Well with all the news of Google Reader shutting down (I never used it anyway) there seem to be allot of people/sites suggesting Flipboard as an alternative.

I follow most of the big tech sites (Apple ones at least) on Twitter and Google+ but thought I would give Flipboard a try to see if the news is easier to digest.

Heres the sites I am currently following:

  • Cult of Mac
  • Ghacks
  • Mac Rumours
  • iJailbreak
  • iMore
  • 9to5 Mac
  • BBC Click
  • BGR
  • MacTrast
  • TUAW
  • TechCrunch
  • Engadget
  • iDownloadBlog
  • Redmond Pie
  • The Verge
  • OS X Daily

When searching for them in Flipboard I decided to follow them all by their twitter accounts so in theory I should get the same experience when reading the different feeds.

Anyone else using Flipboard? If so are there any other sites you suggest I follow? Particularly Apple and Tech related :)

Thanks in Advance!

Flipboard is one of my most used apps - love it. Here's what's in mine:

News (never read though lol)
Technology
Flipboard Picks
CP24 (local news)
Finance
Bloomberg News
Apple News
Apps
Mobile
iPhone in Canada
Techcrunch
Mobile Syrup
Men's Style
Art of Manliness

I don't follow a lot of the tech sites individually as a lot of their articles show up in Tech and Mobile already.

here's mine so far...

  • Film
  • iPhoneography
  • Instagram Popular
  • CNET
  • Cult of Mac
  • Engadget

Well since posting this I have actually switched to Feedly, it seems to be a more natural way of viewing feeds. You don't have to go in to each individual feed to read the news you can just choose "Today" and it will show all news from that day.

Very Impressed :)
