Whats is Thumbs.db?

What is Thumbs.db? I seem to have this file in every folder.

I knew it was a Windows thing but wasn't sure exactly why so I googled it. This should clear it up for you.

Yup, it's a cache of the thumbnails in that folder for Windows. Even then, it's not necessary, and I'm pretty sure these files are completely useless on the Mac. Just delete them and they won't annoy you anymore.

Thanks for the link! Yeah I transfered my files from my PC to my iMac so thats why that was showing up.
