What's my laptop worth?

I have a 17" 3.02 ghz core 2 duo with 8gbs ram, 128 gb ssd and an optibay with a 250gb data disc instead of a dvd drive and a matte screen. I'm really wanting a new imac as my home computer and want to sell my lappy to fund it. Ebay tells me roughly 1200 but I think it might be worth more. What do you think?

A month ago, I sold my 2009 MBP 13" 2.53GHz, 4GB Ram, 250GB hard drive stock for $1,000.. I threw it out there and someone took a bite. Cost me only 300 W/tax for a 13" Air. Hell of a deal! I love Apple resale value.

Ive always got good prices for my macs using this method. Just have to double and triple check you haven't made any listing errors or spelling mistakes in the title!

I actually bought my mid 09' MBP 15" 2.53Ghz all stock, 4GB ram, 250HD for $875 shipped w/ 1yr left of apple care. It was pretty much in mint condition with only superficial hairline scratches on the bottom.

Being a 17" is always a plus (for some), that coupled with the SSD...but, given its older CPU platform...I wouldnt ask much more than 1500.00.
