Hey guys, I'm going to be a freshman this fall at university.

I will be buying a RMBP. I don't want to order online, rather try my luck at Apple stores. ( I only want the base model)

To get to the point, what is the requirements to purchase a laptop instore and receive the education benefits?

Most of the time at my local Apple Store they don't even ask for student ID, but your store may be different. If you don't have a student ID yet you can always log into your school email account (several of my friends have done this successfully).

if you don't have an ID from your school yet, a copy of the letter saying you've been accepted is supposed to do the trick

I don't have a student I.D. card yet. So just logging into my school email should suffice?

Edit: And take along my acceptance letter?
