Hey all,

I'm still fairly new to Mac (first post, but have done a bit of lurking), and I'd been wondering what had been going on with my system under 10.8.x and monitoring the constant stream of data showing up in Console. I was concerned enough about how sluggish an early-2011 MacBookPro had been getting, so I decided to make sure everything was backed up to my Time Capsule, and installed Mavericks from scratch.

I've been seeing a much different stream of info in Console this time around, as I added internet accounts in the manner that was supposed to avoid the URL/usrname problems that was spitting out thousands of errors an hour. I'm seeing a lot of CalendarAgent errors, some major problems with icon service (or something similar) that was causing hundreds of Console messages a minute and it jacked my CPU usage up to 200%, slowing my machine down to a crawl.

What is fairly normal to be seeing in Console, and what should be things to be concerned about?

Thanks,
Mitch
