In a 2.5 inch drive, whats the maximum amount of GB an SSD can be manufactured? What about a 3.5 drive?

What are the currrent limits in theory and future technologies for SSDs?

I believe you can buy a 3.5 inch SSD with about 1 TB of storage. I saw it a few months ago for around $3,000. I can't remember the brand. OCZ is working on a 2.5 inch SSD with up to 1 TB of storage, but I'm not sure if it's out yet (maybe someone here knows more about it than I do).

In the future NAND flash prices should continue to drop. As the transistors become smaller and denser, more storage will be available in the same space. I wouldn't know what the theoretical maximum density is, but I assume it's an S-curve with a practical limit.
