My new iPhone 5 gives me a vibrating alert every ten minutes or so, but I don't know what the alert is for or how to turn it off. Most notifications are off, but I left on calendar and reminders, and I suppose I could have missed one in the list of possible notifications. When it vibrates, I unlock and swipe down from the top to open the notification center, and there's nothing in it. What am I missing?
Thanks for any suggestions,

It was a mail notification, thanks. I thought I had turned off all the notifications, but I missed one. The real frustration was that, although it would vibrate or chime, there was no indication that I ever found about why it was doing that. I did find the right setting to make it stop, though.
