I'm looking to replace one of my external 5.25 drives with a 2.5inch solution and I'm wondering what is generally speaking the best solution? ie. enclosure FW800 or eSata II via ExpressCard 34?

I've got some enclosures by RocketFish that support both USB and eSata now this enclosure is by no means high end and I don't think it will be particularly fast over eSata. (Just a hunch)

If you were buying a good enclosure to house a 2.5 drive what would you go with today?

I like FW800 since I don't need a eSATA card (which I have, but it's annoying to carry around). Also FW800 is bootable and it's really fast. Not to mention the drive can be bus powered.
