Whats The Best App To Montior Your C2D Temperature?

I have a macbook pro c2d ... and im wondering whats the best app (freeware pref) to monitor my temperatures ... i have iStat Pro ... but it doesnt monitor my temps. Any sugestions ??

Also can i control my fan speeds etc etc ??

I have istart pro and it monitors the temps of the laptop. it dosent control fans thou to control the fans you could use Fan Control - 1.1 http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/31130

See i have istat pro aswell .... when i go to select temperature in the options it gives me the N/A option

Anyways around this ?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think you need to downlaod a temperature program usually to get iStat pro to read temps. An example would be "CoreDuoTemp", which is free...http://macbricol.free.fr/coreduotemp/index.php?rub=dwnld, I installed that and then looked at iStat pro and it started to read the temp

ahh i have the same matchine and istart temp works fine.

I personally like the coreduo temp, easy and works great. and you get it up on your top bar
