Hi guys. Here's the scenario - I hooked my iPad 2 up to an amp/speakers for a 60th birthday party. I used iDJ app by Numark from App Store. Worked out to be a great choice for several reasons - mainly because it allowed me to create a playlist and leave it to do its thing. All I had to do was put the songs in some sort of bpm order and the app sorted the Transitions et, also the UI was very simple for a non pro!

I've been asked to sort the music for another party but this time I'm going to use my MBP.

So I want to know if there is similar software available for a OSX ML? I've looked at virtual dj but it looks far to complicated for what I want to do. I know iTunes can cross fade songs in and out but it's not the best.

Thanks

why dont you keep using your ipad if it worked? virtual dj is best when used with a controller and for further mixing. If you just want a playlist to keep people entertained, use the ipad and save your self the trouble
